CUSTOMIZED EMAIL SERVICES

The following links are to services that allow grantseekers to sign up for e-mail notification of grant-related topics according to their interests.

Grants.gov
Grants.gov is the largest database of federal grant opporunties. To register for email announcements, click on the link above, enter your email address, and click Subscribe. Grants.gov will send you an email notification each time a new grant is posted to the database. You will receive an average of 2-3 emails weekly with several new announcements listed.

SPIN SMARTS Alerts
The Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN) GENIUS system provides alerts of new funding opportunities that meet criteria you specify. Click here to view instructions on creating a profile in the GENIUS system and registering to receive SMARTS alerts.

GrantsNet
GrantsNet is a database of government and federal grant opportunities in the science fields. To subscribe, click on the link above, select the Subscribe to Funding News Alerts option, enter your email address, and click Go. You will receive a monthly email newsletter with information on current funding opportunities in the science fields.

My NSF
My NSF is available to anyone wishing to know about new NSF publications. Here are some basic points about how it works. For more information, please see the My NSF help pages.

  • To subscribe, you need an internet email account.
  • Once you subscribe, you will get an email from NSF confirming your subscription.
  • After subscribing, be sure to create your "profile" of publications you want to be told about.
  • This automatically creates a custom web page for you, which you can access using your Internet email account.
  • You must visit this web page at least once every twelve months to keep your subscription current.
  • You can choose to be notified via email when new documents matching your profile are added to the NSF Online Document System. Email messages include links to the electronic location of each document, and/or full text of short documents.
  • A weekly email alert listing all documents added the previous week is available under "Notification Options" when you set up or modify your profile.

US Department of Education EDInfo
EDInfo is a free information service that delivers 2-3 messages per week from the U.S. Department of Education to your e-mail account.
Each message features one report or initiative (or other information, including grant announcements) from the U.S. Department of Education. Most messages include a summary a link to more information. To take advantage of this service, simply follow the instructions below:

  1. Address an e-mail message to: listproc@inet.ed.gov
  2. Write this (and nothing else) in the message: subscribe EDInfo your first name your last name
    (If you have a signature block, please turn it off.)

Sponsored Programs Listserve
The Sponsored Programs Listserve was created to facilitate campus-wide communication for Sponsored Programs related topics and provide a communication medium for announcements relevant to project directors and other staff involved with sponsored projects. All subscribers are welcome to post questions, resources, funding opportunities, or other relevant information to the listserve. Project directors are automatically subscribed to the listserve, and we encourage all interested individuals, especially those who are involved with sponsored projects, to subscribe by clicking here. After subscribing, you may post to the listserv using the following address: sponsoredprograms@listserve.eku.edu.
